Al Hilal look to retain title as 2017-18 Jameel League season kicks off

Saudi champions take on Al Fayha and Al Fateh host Al Taawoun in opening day fixtures.

For Saudi football fans, the long wait is finally over.

Champions Al Hilal kick off the 2017-18 Jameel League season by hosting Al Fayha on Thursday, August 10, at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, as they look to retain the title they claimed in May.

Earlier in the day Al Fateh take on Al Taawoun at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in the season’s opening fixture.

The remaining fixtures take place over the following two days.

Al Fateh v Al Taawoun

Al Hilal v Al Fayha

August 11

Al Qadisiyah v Al Raed

Al Ittihad v Al Batin

Al Ettifaq v Al Ahli

August 12

Al Shabab v Ohod

Al Faisaly v Al Nassr

The Jameel League’s 14 clubs have been finalising their preparations for the new season over the last few days and are all set for the big kick off.
