They could lose a lot of money here.
Bakchich, a restaurant that serves Arabic food in Liverpool, is giving away free meals every time the Kop’s new idol scores for the Reds.
Salah has had a dream start to his Liverpool career, scoring 31 goals in all competitions so far, and becoming a firm favourite with the Anfield crowd.
“Mo Salah’s favourite food is hummus falafel. It’s healthy Arabic cuisine,” Otto Mellouki, Bakchich’s owner told the Liverpool Echo.

Salah is regular at the outlet, and Mellouki, himself of Egyptian origin, seems delighted to offer the Liverpool winger and his growing army of fans a taste of home.
“So from now until the end of the football season we will offer free mezze Hummus falafel for every goal Mo Salah scores for Liverpool,” Mellouki added. “Hummus and falafel are the fuel of every Egyptian, it’s part of the Arabic diet – especially in the morning and it’s healthy, tasty and doesn’t break the bank.”
