Mohamed Salah mania shows no signs of slowing down.
An Egyptian artist is the talk of social media after her ultra-realistic painting of Salah went viral over the last week.
Shrok Yahya (@ShrokYahya) tweeted several versions of her painting of Liverpool’s Egyptian forward with a plea to her followers to retweet so that her hero can see his portrait.
“I promise for the last time I will ask you to retweet, as I would sincerely love @22mosalah to see my painting of him,” she posted in Arabic.

And sure enough, the man Liverpool fans have nicknamed the “Egyptian King” eventually saw the picture and expressed his gratitude to the artist.
“Very beautiful. Thank you Shrok,” Salah said, to which the artist replied: “It’s the least we can do to acknowledge your efforts and the joy and pride you’ve brought to the Egyptian people.”
