It’s not uncommon for Premier League footballers to be spotted enjoying a holiday in Dubai.
In fact, it seems one of their more preferred destinations. With FA Cup weekend followed by international week, many players not involved in either took the opportunity to stick around the city and make the most of the warm weather before heading back to the freezing conditions in the UK.
And it seems they all ended up at one of Dubai’s favourite spots, Turkish restaurant Nusr-Et, at the Four Seasons Hotel on Jumeirah Beach Road.
Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Sergio Aguero, during a break from a training camp in Abu Dhabi, posted Instagram photos and video clips spending time with Nusr-Et’s world famous chef Nusret Gökçe. Even former City boss Roberto Mancini got in on the action.
A few days later, Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas, Alvaro Morata and Gary Cahill, none of who had been called up for their countries’ friendly internationals, were also spotted enjoying Gökçe’s hospitality, who also posted several clips of the players on his Instagram account.
Nusr-Et has several outlets in Gökçe’s native Turkey, as well as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, New York and Miami.
