It’s a done deal. Omar Abdulrahman, 13 years after leaving Al Hilal as a 15-year-old, has joined the Saudi champions on loan for one year.

Abdulrahman had signed a new three-year contract with Al Ain before making the highly anticipated move to Riyadh.

Having been greeted by hundreds of adoring fans at King Khalid International Airport in the early hours of Wednesday morning, the man nicknamed Amoory duly signed officially with Al Hilal later in the day. The Dhs60m deal is the second most expensive loan in football history.
